Reliance Jio has unveiled new 3-month plans for its Jio AirFiber 5G Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA) service, aiming to offer more affordable and flexible options for consumers. Previously, Jio AirFiber plans were available with 1, 6 and 12-month validity periods. The new 3-month plans cater to a broader audience by reducing the commitment period while maintaining a wide range of speed options from 30 Mbps to 1 Gbps.
Jio AirFiber quarterly plans
The entry-level 30 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 599 per month. It includes 1,000GB of data and access to a comprehensive suite of 14 OTT platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, JioCinema, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, DocuBay, EpicON, and ETV Win (via JioTV+). It will also get you over 800 on-demand TV channels, Jio says. Alternatively you can opt for a Rs 888 plan that gets you the same benefits as the Rs 599 plan with the addition of free Netflix (basic) and Amazon Prime Lite subscriptions.
For those seeking higher speeds, the 100 Mbps plan is offered in two tiers. The Rs 899 per month option mirrors the OTT benefits of the 30 Mbps plan. The Rs 1,199 per month option, however, enhances the package by adding Netflix and Amazon Prime Lite to the existing OTT subscriptions.
Jio AirFiber quarterly plans also come with 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps, and 1 Gbps speeds for Rs 1,499, Rs 2,499, and Rs 3,999 respectively.
