The next iPhone SE may support Apple Intelligence AI features, according to a new report. This new upcoming iPhone SE, or iPhone SE 4, is said to launch in 2025.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter says the iPhone SE 4 will feature an iPhone 14-like chassis and come equipped with AI features that Apple first announced at the recent WWDC 2024 conference. Some of these features are already available in beta while the full stack is expected to come about by the end of this year and early next year.
iPhone SE to have Apple Intelligence
In the newsletter, Gurman explains that, “And you can also bet that it will have Apple Intelligence.” In case the iPhone SE implements Apple intelligence, then it can be an interesting proposition. This is because Apple Intelligence is not supported only on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and not on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, apparently because they are not powerful enough.
He also mentioned that the new iPhone SE will get a much ‘slimmer and cooler’ look than the other iPhone series. The overall design may borrow heavily from the iPhone 14. Additionally the price range is estimated to come around $500.
Gurman further suggested that if the iPhone SE gets the AI features of Apple Intelligence, this proposed new model can be the best out of the entire iPhone series.
Other updates
A few days back Gurman said that Apple plans to introduce a new Mac Mini. He further added that this Mac Mini may be similar in size to an Apple TV set-top box. The model is rumored to have the AI-focused M4 processors. The M4 processor chip is usually used for the MacBook Airs, iMac desktops, MacBook Pros, and other Macbook models.
