The smartphone world is abuzz with new launches and releases. We have already seen high-profile premium device launches like the Pixel 10 series. Although the Indian smartphone market has seen plenty of smartphone launches across various price points from different brands. It appears that the month of September will overwhelm tech enthusiasts and consumers, spoiling them with various choices.

August 2025 saw the launch of premium smartphone segment upwards of Rs 50,000, like the Google Pixel 10 series lineup, although the premium segment was not only the category brands released devices for several launches were seen in the budget and Mid-range segment, like the Vivo V60 5G, Realme P4, among others. The Month of September, however, promises to be more exciting and packed with launch of devices and other gadgets like tablets.

However, it’s a very complex task to remain updated about new product launches and releases, whether you are a tech enthusiast or a buyer. Therefore, we have taken the onus upon ourselves to keep you updated about it. So here’s a list of the smartphone launches of in September 2025:

Apple iPhone 17 Series

Apple is gearing up for the launch of the iPhone 17 series, which is right around the corner. The launch event, according to insider leaks will be in early September. Apple is anticipated to introduce the iPhone 17 lineup with four distinct models. The range is likely to feature the standard iPhone 17, a thinner and more lightweight iPhone 17 Air, as well as the high-end iPhone 17 Pro and the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple is reportedly planning to bump up the base storage across the iPhone 17 lineup to 256GB, doubling it from the current 128GB. Should this upgrade materialize, industry insiders suggest that the starting price could rise by about $50 (roughly Rs 4,400). In that case, the entry-level iPhone 17 might launch at approximately Rs 83,300, compared to the iPhone 16’s Rs 79,900 price point.

If these leaks prove accurate, the premium models in the series are also expected to see notable price increases. Meanwhile, the all-new iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be priced around $900 (Rs 78,886), positioning it higher than the standard iPhone 17 but still more affordable than the Pro editions, creating a unique middle ground in the lineup. Since these figures are based on U.S. pricing, estimates suggest the iPhone 17 Air could retail between Rs 90,000 and Rs 1,00,000 in India.

Galaxy S25 FE:

Samsung is also gearing up for the launch of the S25 FE smartphone. Although it has not been confirmed by the company. It usually launches its Fan Edition smartphones in mid-September, and this should also be the case for the Galaxy S25 FE. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, seen in the S24 series. As far as the cameras are concerned, it will sport a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP 3x telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Additionally, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The S25 FE is also expected to come with a slightly bigger battery, with a 4,900mAh setup compared to the 4,700mAh battery on the last-generation device. The build quality and design of the smartphone would be similar to the S-series design language with a glass sandwich design and IP 69 support.

Lava Agni 4:

There has been a buzz about Lava’s next-generation Agni device for a few weeks now. A few weeks back, leaks of the design of the Agni 4 went online, which showed that the company is getting rid of the secondary display on the Agni series and opting for a horizontal, bar-like camera layout.

Leaks suggest that the phone could continue to feature the same AMOLED display from last year with an upgraded MediaTek 8350 processor and a larger 7,000mAh battery.
