Apple has had a fairly busy year in 2025 as far as product launches are concerned. From releasing product refreshes to completely new offerings like the iPhone 16e, 2025 has seen some interesting Apple products come out. Even the iOS 26 operating system brings a lot of promises and excitement among fans. However, the biggest launch of the year – the iPhone 17 series – is still ahead of us. More importantly, the rumours also suggest that a couple of crucial product launches are yet to hit the shelves.
Hence, while the tech fraternity is excited to see the iPhone 17 Air, Apple may also be readying a couple of other products, including a low-cost MacBook laptop, an AirPods Pro refresh, an updated HomePod Mini smart speaker and more. Here’s a quick look at all the expected Apple launches in the remainder months of 2025.
iPhone 17 series
The upcoming iPhone 17 series is expected to bring a significant upgrade from previous generations. The biggest change is expected to be the rumoured replacement of the iPhone 17 Plus with a new, ultra-slim model, called the iPhone 17 Air. This new device is expected to be the thinnest iPhone ever made, at just 5.5mm thick. This sleek design may come with trade-offs in battery life and camera hardware.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are also tipped to feature a redesigned chassis with a raised camera hump and an all new aluminium frame. Beyond the design, the iPhone 17 lineup is expected to get a number of hardware upgrades. All models will likely be powered by the new A19 chip, while the Pro series will get the more advanced A19 Pro. The camera systems are also set for an overhaul, with a new 48MP telephoto lens for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a 24MP front-facing camera for all models. 120Hz display will now be a standard affair on the iPhone now.
M5-powered Macs and a low-cost MacBook
On the Mac side, Apple is expected to launch new Macs featuring its next-generation M5 series of chips. This includes an updated MacBook Pro and a new Mac Pro. However, the most surprising rumour is the potential introduction of a new, low-cost MacBook. This cheap model is expected to have a 12.9-inch display and be powered by an A17 Pro chip (the same kind used in iPhone 17 Pro), a choice that could help lower its price point. It is rumoured to launch in late 2025 or early 2026 at most.
Updates for iPads and Apple Watch
The iPad lineup is also due for a refresh, with a new iPad Pro expected to feature an M5 chip and dual front-facing cameras. Furthermore, Apple is anticipated to release new generations of its popular wearables and accessories, including updated AirPods Pro, the Apple Watch Series 11, an updated Apple TV, and a new HomePod Mini with upgraded audio quality and a faster chip capable of running Apple Intelligence. A refreshed version of the Apple Watch SE is also expected to break cover in the coming months.
