HUAWEI on Friday launched its new FreeClip open-ear earbuds in the Indian market. According to the company, the FreeClip features a unique open-ear design that works interchangeably on either ear, eliminating the need for left or right-specific placement.
The innovative clip-on structure is composed of three main elements: the Comfort Bean, engineered for a snug, natural fit; the Acoustic Ball, contoured to mirror the cavum concha for enhanced wearability; and the C-bridge, which incorporates an adaptive sensor system and nine integrated structural wires. With their curved form factor and environment-aware sound output, the FreeClip earbuds are designed for all-day use across diverse settings, the company claims.
Pricing and Availability:
Available in Beige, Purple, and Black, the HUAWEI FreeClip are priced at Rs. 14,999. They are available starting today on Amazon.in and rtcindia.net.
Specifications:
Each FreeClip earbud weighs just 5.6 grams and carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Equipped with a 10.8mm dual-magnet dynamic driver, the earbuds are tuned for punchy bass performance. Background noise is minimized using a DNN-powered multi-microphone system, and they are compatible with SBC, AAC, and L2HC audio codecs.
On a single charge, each earbud offers up to 8 hours of continuous playback, while the accompanying charging case extends total usage time to 32 hours. The case is powered by a 510mAh battery, fully recharging in around 40 minutes. A quick 10-minute top-up provides roughly 3 hours of playtime. Battery longevity is further enhanced in single-earbud usage mode.
Additional standout features include gesture customization and motion-based controls that allow users to answer or reject calls with a simple nod or head shake. The FreeClip earbuds also come with dual-device pairing support, enabling seamless switching between two connected devices.
