WhatsApp introduced the ‘Voice Status’ feature last year, but surprisingly, many users are still unaware of it or don’t know how to use it effectively. This feature allows you to share audio updates directly with your contacts via WhatsApp Status, providing a personal way to communicate beyond just text or images.

The voice status feature allows users to record and share voice messages of up to 30 seconds on their WhatsApp status. Here’s how to use it:

Step 1: Update your WhatsApp
First, make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp on your phone. Simply visit the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) to update the app if you haven’t already.

Step 2: Go to the Status tab
Open WhatsApp and head to the “Status” section, where you typically post photos, videos, or text updates.

Step 3: Tap the Mic icon
At the bottom of the screen, you will notice a microphone icon next to the text field. Tap this to start recording your voice message.

Step 4: Record your message
Hold the mic icon and speak your message. You can record up to 30 seconds of audio. Release the button once you’re done recording.

Step 5: Share your voice Status
Once you’re happy with the voice note, simply tap the Send button to share it with your contacts as part of your status update.

The Voice Status feature offers a great way to share quick thoughts, updates, or even reminders without having to type. So, if you haven’t explored this feature yet, it’s time to try it out and communicate in a whole new way!
