If you head over to Flipkart right about now, you can snag the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus at a net effective price of Rs 13,249 and Rs 20,249, respectively. We’re not kidding. Apple’s own website lists the 128GB iPhone 14 for Rs 69,900. The iPhone 14 Plus 128GB costs Rs 79,900 originally. So, technically, the overall discount on Flipkart turns out to be Rs 56,651 on the iPhone 14 and Rs 59,651, respectively. Terms and conditions, obviously apply.
So, how does all the math work out, you ask? Here goes.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus 128GB variants are listed at reduced prices of Rs 56,999 and Rs 63,999, respectively, on Flipkart at the time of writing. These numbers keep fluctuating and are likely to change by the time you read this report. In all, the discount turns out to be Rs 12,901 on the iPhone 14 and Rs 15,901 on iPhone 14 Plus. You’re going to get this discount by default, no strings attached.
When you pair this with bank offers, which include an extra Rs 1,750 off on SBI Credit Card and Credit EMI transactions, you’ll be able to get the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus for even lower, i.e., for Rs 55,249 and Rs 62,249, respectively. This discount is also a certain if you happen to own the necessary card and chose to make your purchase using it.
Now starts the part that is most uncertain: exchange. Flipkart is offering up to Rs 42,000 for your existing smartphone. You’re not likely to get this level of discount realistically and even if you do, chances are it would be on some high-end flagship, preferably one of the recent Pro or Pro Max iPhones, which you should avoid. But if some alternative universe, you do manage to get the maximum discount, voila, you can get the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus at a crazy Rs 13,249 and Rs 20,249.
Even if you were to skip the exchange hoop, we feel Flipkart is offering a good discount on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus as is. If you were waiting to get either of them and budget was a constraint, a one-generation iPhone at around Rs 60,000 is a good bargain.
