The founder of the startup with an username @Spor posted, “deleting my Instagram today not just the app, the whole account it’s time to be a man”.
The post sparked a debate online and even attracted the attention of the X CEO Elon Musk.

The CEO of the social media platform “X,” Elon Musk, has responded to the tech CEO’s comments. Elon has been quite vocal in his criticism of the social media giant Meta and its apps, including Instagram and Facebook. This post by the tech CEO to delete his account and uninstall the Instagram app therefore garnered praise by Elon Musk.
Replying to the post, Elon Musk, in a whimsical manner, wrote, “This is the way.”
Perplexity CEO’s Opinion

Aravind has recently shared a message for young people who are addicted to social media apps, wherein they should ditch the endless doomscrolling of social media apps and start to upskill themselves on artificial intelligence tools instead.
The CEO of Perplexity recently gave an interview wherein he requested people to “spend less time doomscrolling and spend more time using the AIs.”
Building on the recent layoffs in the tech industry owing to AI automations in operations, he said, “People who really are at the frontier of using AI systems are going to be way more employable than people who are not.” He added that it’s guaranteed to happen.
