CMF Phone 1 is officially launching in India today. It is the first smartphone from Nothing subsidiary CMF. The Phone 1 will not feature Nothing’s “iconic” see-through look but CMF has something else planned for customers. It will allow Phone 1 users to customise the phone with swappable back covers and several accessories.
The phone won’t cost a bomb either. It is confirmed that the CMF Phone 1 will be priced lower than the Nothing Phone 2a with online reports projecting a price tag anywhere between Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000.
The CMF Phone 1 won’t be the only product that CMF will launch today. The Phone 1 will be joined by the CMF Watch 2 Pro with “interchangeable” bezels and CMF Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds with a “customisable” smart dial for intuitive sound control. Like the Phone 1, the Watch 2 Pro and Buds Pro 2 are likely to be priced aggressively.

CMF Phone 1: Specs, features
The CMF Phone 1 will debut in four vibrant colours: Black, Orange, Light Green, and Blue. The Black and Light Green models have a subtle texture formed into the case, while the Blue and Orange versions feature a vegan leather layer.
One of the standout features of the CMF Phone 1 is its “adaptable” nature. According to Nothing, users can become co-designers with interchangeable accessories and covers, allowing them to personalise the phone to their style and preferences.
The design of the CMF Phone 1 emphasises both functionality and individuality. Users can easily swap cases for different colours or materials and attach accessories like a lanyard cable, card holder, or stand to suit their daily needs. These accessories and back panels are expected to be sold separately.
In terms of specifications, Nothing has confirmed that the CMF Phone 1 will include a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, a 50-megapixel main camera with a secondary portrait sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The CMF Phone 1 is tipped to come in a choice of 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB with a starting price of Rs 15,999, as per reports.
