On Tuesday, ASUS introduced the Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) in the Indian market, featuring a Snapdragon X chipset paired with a Hexagon NPU for enhanced AI performance. The notebook is equipped with a 14-inch LCD display delivering a Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It operates on Windows 11 Home and includes native support for Microsoft Copilot.

The ASUS Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) carries a price tag of ₹65,990 and will go on sale beginning July 22. Customers can purchase it through e-commerce sites like Flipkart or directly from ASUS’s official online store. Although the company hasn’t formally announced color options, promotional visuals suggest the laptop will be offered in a sleek dark grey shade.

With the new Vivobook 14, we’re taking that promise a step further… It combines the intelligence of AI with thoughtful design and long-lasting performance.”

The ASUS Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) sports a 14-inch Full HD+ IPS panel offering 300 nits of brightness and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification to help minimize eye fatigue. Its dimensions are 315.1 x 223.4 x 17.9 mm, and it has a lightweight build, tipping the scales at around 1.49 kg.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X (X1 26 100) chipset, the laptop boasts a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of executing up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making it well-suited for AI-based tasks like Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven image creation.

The device is outfitted with 16GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Running on Windows 11 Home, it also features a dedicated Copilot button, comes bundled with Office Home 2024, and includes a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Basic.

ASUS has equipped the device with stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos for immersive audio output. It houses a 50Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging via the included power adapter.

In recent months, the brand has expanded its AI-powered notebook lineup, and is now introducing more budget-friendly choices within the Windows 11 category. This move caters to users in India who are considering an upgrade from aging Windows 10 systems.
