Apple has confirmed the launch of its first retail outlet in Pune, named Apple Koregaon Park, scheduled to open on September 4. The new store represents a major step in Apple’s growth in India, giving Pune customers an opportunity to discover and purchase Apple products while accessing the company’s signature in-store services.
The barricade for Apple Koregaon Park was revealed this morning, following last week’s reveal in Bengaluru.
“At Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park, customers will be able to explore Apple’s latest product lineup, experience new features, and receive expert support from team members such as Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business teams,” the iPhone maker said in a statement.
As per reports, the upcoming store will span nearly 10,000 square feet as a flagship destination, built to deliver the complete Apple experience. Visitors will be able to explore the newest devices firsthand and receive personalized assistance from Apple specialists. The launch event is expected to be a major occasion, with senior leaders from Apple’s US headquarters likely to participate.

India’s smartphone market recorded an 18% year-on-year growth in wholesale value during Q2 2025, setting a new second-quarter record, according to Counterpoint. The iPhone 16 stood out as the most-shipped model in Q2 2025, reflecting strong consumer preference. By shipments, vivo secured the leading position, while Samsung dominated value share with 23%. The ultra-premium segment (above Rs 45,000) expanded by 37% year-on-year, the fastest among all price brackets, fueled mainly by Apple and Samsung.
iPhone 17 launch:
Excitement around Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 17 series is intensifying as the launch date approaches, amplified by a steady flow of leaks and speculation.
