Apple might launch its first foldable iPad with a 20.3-inch screen in 2025, according to a new report. Additionally Apple is tipped to introduce its first foldable iPhone in 2026.

“Apple is ramping up its work on foldable devices, according to a new investor note seen by 9to5Mac. The report, from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, says that Apple will begin mass production of a 20.3-inch foldable device in late 2025, followed by a foldable iPhone in late 2026,” reports suggested.

The big reveal!

9To5Mac explains that Apple is planning to bring in two potential screen sizes for its foldable iPhone. Reportedly, the foldable iPhones will come around 7.9 inches and 8.3 inches.

Earlier, Ming-Chi Kuo, a market analyst, had highlighted that Apple will be working on a massive 20.3-inch foldable MacBook. The MacBook is expected to launch in 2027, according to Kuo. 

In addition to this Ross Young also explained that Apple might bring a 20-inch foldable hybrid device before 2027.

What future does Apple hold? 

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple plans to explore a unique dual-screen foldable that could combine iPad and MacBook functionalities. The foldable smartphone market reached a valuation of $27.7 billion in 2023, as per reports from Stellar Market Research in a February 2024 report. 

Industry experts believe that this could be exciting coming years for Apple, with lots of foldable products in the making.
