Just before the Apple October event, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman hints about some of the upcoming products expected. With all eyes on the upcoming launches in October, he says that the company can bring smart-glasses just like the Meta RayBan glasses. After bringing the latest iPhone 16 series, Apple aims to expand its product line to smart glasses. Apple does have other wearable devices such as its Vision Pro. However, these wearable devices are quite heavy and might not be appropriate for everyday use. So, now Apple wants to create something similar to our regular sunglasses but with an Apple intelligence twist!
Other speculations also suggested that Apple can bring AirPods that have inbuilt cameras. Additionally, you can also expect some other new updates. Let’s take a look at what awaits you.
A lineup for new products
Apple now plans to introduce a smart glass, with in-built speakers, cameras and microphones. These smart glasses will not have an augmented reality (AR) display but will use artificial intelligence (AI) for advanced features. Well, the introduction of Meta RayBan like glasses has been in the news for a long time. The plan came after Meta collaborated with RayBan to introduce a smartglass-like virtual reality (VR) wearable device and the product was a hit! It looks like Apple also wants to join in. In addition to this Apple also plans to bring an Airpod which can support camera capabilities.
The Cupertino-based technology giant aims to add Apple Vision Pro’s capabilities in these new products. The rumored AirPods with inbuilt camera would have an outward facing camera on the earbuds. However, this experiment has been criticized for having a possibility to create security issues. In spite of this Apple still continues to expand the use of its in-house AI which is Apple intelligence.
Apart from the smart glasses and AirPods with camera, Apple also plans to bring new M4 Macs. Other rumors suggest that there will be a M4 Mac mini. Also the much loved MacBook Pro will have an updated M4 chip. It might get three new versions including M4, M4 Max and M4 Pro.
The way ahead
Furthermore, the iPad series could also get updates. You might expect to get the iPad Mini 7th and the iPad 11th generation during the upcoming October event. The new products could come by 2027 and not before that. However, no official announcement has been made regarding these upcoming brand new products.
Apple has always been trying to bring innovations and create devices that can be seamlessly connected. So, launching the above mentioned products can be a mark in strengthening its commitment towards bringing the best products to its users.
