Apple is prepping a big surprise for its India fan base. The Cupertino-based technology company behind some of the most iconic consumer-facing products like iPhone and iPad has announced a special sale event in time for India’s upcoming festive season. The promotional sale will kick off on October 3, 2024.
On Apple Store online, the company has put up a banner teasing the sale, with the Apple logo transformed into a lit diya (lamp), a commonplace item seen during peak Diwali season in India. “Celebrate the season with our festive offers starting on 3 October,” a note attached to the sale banner reads. Apple has mentioned any specific offers at the time of writing. The end-date is a mystery too. More details will probably be revealed on October 3.
Apple sale discounts on iPhone, iPad, and more expected
In the meanwhile, Apple has reiterated its current promotional offers, that make its products a bit more affordable for buyers. The banner post highlights affordability options such as No Cost EMI and Apple Trade In. Additionally, Apple also gives three months of Apple Music free with the purchase of selected devices. You can also engrave your AirPods, AirTag, Apple Pencil (2nd generation) or iPad with a mix of emoji, names or numbers at no extra charge.
Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4 with and without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The devices were launched at an event titled It’s glowtime on September 9 and went on sale starting September 20. It will be interesting to see if Apple lowers the prices of any of these devices or offers some tantalising deals on them during the Diwali sale on October 3. Watch this space for more details.
