On December 3, Andy Jassy, who is Amazon’s CEO, introduced the Nova models during the event . She further emphasized that the company is focused on meeting developer demands. “They want better latency. They want lower costs. They want the ability to do fine-tuning,” Jassy said, showcasing the company’s priority of driving new innovations. Rohit Prasad, Amazon’s head of artificial general intelligence, further added that the new models have the potential to stand out due to its cost-efficiency and high speed capabilities.
So, what does Nova plan to bring to you? One of the highlighted features of the AI tool is Nova Reel. This is Amazon’s new software for video generation. You can create six-second videos from a single image and text prompt. The tech giant also plans to support videos up to two minutes in the coming future. This feature could help in filmmaking and make it a more time saving task.
