Airtel has silently launched a new Rs 279 prepaid plan with extended validity and unlimited calling in India. It comes with up to 45 days of validity. Not just extended validity, the Rs 279 plan has the benefit of unlimited voice calling. The catch is, just like other prepaid plans with extended validity, the Rs 279 plan, too, comes with very little data. Airtel will give you only 2GB of lump sum data with this plan. If you want to get more data, you’ll have to invest in separate data vouchers.
But that’s the story of most of these recharge plans. They are for someone who’s just looking for calling over an extended period of time. Data is usually not a preference here. So the lump sum data given is okay for these users and if the need be, there is always the option to purchase separately. Airtel has quite a few of these extended validity plans in its portfolio beginning for as low as Rs 155. Some also offer unlimited 5G in which case, if you’re an eligible user, you can access unlimited 5G data as well.
Airtel best prepaid plans with extended validity, unlimited calling:
- Airtel Rs 155 plan: The Rs 155 Airtel plan comes with 1GB of lump sum data and a validity of 24 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 179 plan: The Rs 179 Airtel plan comes with 2GB of lump sum data and a validity of 28 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 199 plan: The Rs 199 Airtel plan comes with 3GB of lump sum data and a validity of 30 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS here also.
- Airtel Rs 279 plan: The Rs 279 Airtel plan comes with 2GB of lump sum data and a validity of 45 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 600 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 296 plan: The Rs 296 Airtel plan comes with 25GB of lump sum data and a validity of 30 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 296 plan also has the benefit of unlimited 5G data.
- Airtel Rs 329 plan: The Rs 329 Airtel plan comes with 4GB of lump sum data and a validity of 35 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 395 plan: The Rs 395 Airtel plan comes with 6GB of lump sum data and a validity of 70 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 600 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 455 plan: The Rs 455 Airtel plan comes with 6GB of lump sum data and a validity of 84 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 900 SMS.
- Airtel Rs 489 plan: The Rs 489 Airtel plan comes with 50GB of lump sum data and a validity of 30 days. You get unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS. The Rs 489 plan also has the benefit of unlimited 5G data.
