Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event, which is scheduled for September 9, 2025, at 10:30 PM IST, is expected to be a landmark occasion for the tech giant. The company is set to unveil four new models – the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Leaks and rumours suggest significant upgrades across the board, including a new, ultra-thin design for the iPhone 17 Air, which is set to replace the Plus model. The Pro and Pro Max variants are anticipated to feature upgraded 48MP cameras, improved Night Mode capabilities, and enhanced zoom functionality. All new models are rumoured to be powered by the new A19 chipset.
In the midst of all these, Bollywood celebrities have been spotted sharing their pictures from the Apple Park in Cupertino. One such celebrity, who is widely known as the granddaughter of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, has been spotted sharing her pictures with Apple CEO Tim Cook. Although Shweta Nanda did not give us a glimpse of the upcoming iPhone 17 series or any of the other accessories, she shared a glimpse of the event day at the Apple headquarters.
Bollywood celebrity shares images from Apple
Navya Naveli Nanda, an Indian entrepreneur and granddaughter of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, met with Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, just days before the highly anticipated Awe Dropping event. Nanda, who is a founder of the gender equality initiative Project Naveli, took to Instagram to share photos and a video of her visit.
The post, captioned “Day 1 with Apple,” garnered attention from her mother, Shweta Bachchan, who commented “What fun!” on the social media update.
The private meet-and-greet, held at Apple’s headquarters, was an exclusive gathering for a select group of global content creators, influencers, and tech reviewers. Nanda was among a few guests, which also included Indian singer Armaan Malik, invited by Apple ahead of its major product announcements. The event provided a sneak peek into the company’s plans and products ahead of the official launch.
New accessories launching alongside iPhone 17
In addition to the iPhone 17 series, the event is also expected to feature the launch of the Apple Watch Series 11, AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Watch SE 3. The new iPhone lineup is set to go on sale shortly after the event, with pre-orders beginning on September 12 and a global release scheduled for September 19. The launch event will be live-streamed worldwide on Apple’s official website, YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app.
