Samsung has officially announced the pause of its new UI 7 update and delayed its rollout for Galaxy users across the world. Samsung has not specified about the reason behind the halt. After the launch of UI 7, many users expressed their concern regarding the update; some users faced problems while unlocking their devices and major battery drain was also a concern.
There were some leaks from X user @Universeice which said that the update is going to be rolled out soon but recently he has put up an update regarding the same saying, “Correction: I understand the mistake, YD9 is the latest internal beta and it can’t be pushed yet.”

A Samsung spokesperson told the Android Authority in a statement, “The One UI 7 rollout schedule is being updated to ensure the best possible experience. The new timing and availability will be shared shortly.”
It has become a talking point for Samsung users, as the Android 15 was launched seven months ago but the company is still struggling to provide the update for it.
What were UI 7 update features?
It includes an AI-powered audio eraser, through which users will be able to edit videos and visuals. It also has background noise remover for videos and audio. Then it has a bold redesign with smoother animations, vibrant icons and enhanced customisation options.
Users can easily give voice commands, with a direct Google command from their Galaxy device. It also has the ‘Knox Matrix dashboard bolster security’ which provides an extra layer of data security to the users.
Samsung has also brought in the new ‘Now Bar’ via which the users will be able to access their recently used apps directly.
