Love him or hate him, Orry, the extravagant influencer, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, has become a viral sensation, not just for rubbing shoulders with star kids, but also for his over-the-top theatrics.
While many speculated about Orry’s source of income, a recent appearance on Bigg Boss 17 provided some answers. Despite holding the position of Special Project Manager at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), as per his LinkedIn profile, Orry surprised everyone when he disclosed one of his unconventional means of earning money during a candid conversation with host Salman Khan.
In a hilarious banter with the Tiger 3 star, Orry shared that he earns a whopping Rs 20-30 lakhs just for taking selfies with people at events. He explained, “I get paid to get pictures clicked at the events with the pose that I do and post them. I earn around Rs 20-30 lakhs for these pictures in one night.”
Salman Khan, visibly surprised, jokingly exclaimed, “Kuch seekh Salman, duniya kahaan se kahaan chali gayi yaar. (Learn something, Salman. The world has truly changed.) You get paid for selfies, why am I not doing this? What is their profit in this?” To which, Orry responded with his trademark flair, “After my touch, they feel that they are ageing in rewind. Even their health problems can get solved.”
While Orry’s stint on Bigg Boss 17 was initially thought to be a wild card entry, he spent less than two days inside the BB house. For those speculating about a possible Bollywood debut for Orhan Awatramani, Orry clarified in an earlier interview with Cosmopolitan India. Despite receiving numerous offers, he expressed, “I get offers all the time. But I don’t speak Hindi very well… So no—no Bollywood for me right now.”
Delving deeper into Orry’s lifestyle, it’s worth noting that his extravagant lifestyle extends beyond his viral selfies. While he may not be pursuing a Bollywood career at the moment, Orry remains a fascinating personality with a multifaceted life that continues to capture public attention.
