The long-awaited season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show is back on Netflix. The first episode, featuring Salman Khan as the celebrity guest, premiered on June 21 and each new episode will drop at 8 pm on Saturdays. Kapil Sharma’s per episode fees and total earnings
According to The Siasat Daily, the comedian has been charging Rs 5 crore for each episode since season 1. This means that his collective earnings from all the 13 episodes of the first season, which streamed from 30 March to 22 June 2024, would total up to Rs. 65 crore – a number reported by multiple media outlets.
With the same rate per episode for his second season on Netflix, which lasted from 21 September to 14 December 2024, he reportedly earned Rs 65 crore again from the 13 episodes.
With his third season, the first episode of which was released on 21 June, he is expected to charge the same amount per episode. Reportedly, the show will maintain the same number of episodes as before, bringing him Rs 65 crores once again.
Kapil Sharma’s paycheck from each season is expected to add up to 195 crores, with The Great Indian Kapil Show bringing the comedian nearly Rs. 200 crores in payment.
What other members of the show are earning
In addition to Kapil Sharma himself, the show features a number of beloved actors and guest hosts. According to Zee News, Archana Puran Singh, who has remained the permanent guest on the show since 2019, charges between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh per episode. Actor Sunil Grover reportedly earns Rs 25 lakh per episode, while Kiku Sharda is paid Rs 7 lakh for the same.
