Get ready to savor the flavors of Nepal with Nepal Foods’ new range of ready-to-eat meals, created in collaboration with the famous chef, Santosh Shah.

Launching the products at an event organized at the House of Lords, Santosh Shah, the talented chef who is the winner of the BBC’s UK MasterChef: The Professionals Rematch 2021, stated, “I am happy to launch ready-to-eat authentic Nepali foods to the UK market.”

Nepal Foods was established by Bikash Nepal in 2018 with just 30 products but has now expanded to over 300. The products include a variety of snacks, pickles, lentils, flour, beans, tea, sweets, fruit juices, and sauces. Additionally, frozen foods such as paratha, samosa, and spring rolls. The company claims, they focus exclusively on traditional Nepalese dishes, that bring the taste of home to Nepalese people living abroad who may be missing the flavors they grew up with. Additionally, the company introduces the rich and diverse flavors of Nepal to the new generation born in foreign countries.

Bikash Nepal, the CEO of Nepal Foods, shared his objectives for this partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to team up with Santosh Shah to bring his authentic Nepali recipes to our UK customers. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to offering the best of Nepalese cuisine, and we can’t wait for our customers to enjoy these mouth-watering ready-to-eat meals.”

Nepal Foods is currently doing business in 25 different countries. After successfully entering the US market in January 2022, they are now eyeing Japan as their next expansion destination.

Nepal’s current Ambassador to the UK, Gyan Chandra Acharya, hailed this partnership as a fantastic blend of food, trade, and culture. He pointed out that Nepal-UK trade has room to grow and emphasized the importance of quality and branding. “It’s quite an achievement to make your products thrive in a competitive market like the UK. Let’s introduce Nepal to the culinary world, not only in the UK but also worldwide,” he added.

Nepal Foods has a distribution network, with partners in 25 countries supplying their products to retail stores globally. With exciting collaboration, the brand aims to tantalize the taste buds of the UK’s diverse food scene while showcasing Nepal’s rich culinary heritage on the global stage.
