Truecaller, headquartered in Stockholm and founded in 2009, reported substantial revenues of SEK 1,740.4 million (approximately Rs 1406 crore) for the fiscal year January-December 2023. With over 374 million active users monthly, the app remains a dominant force in its field, with India representing a significant portion of its global sales.
Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya brings extensive expertise in business development, mobile applications, and software project management to his role. Before Truecaller, he held senior positions at CleverTap, a leading SaaS company based in California. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Mumbai University.
In an Instagram post marking his transition to Truecaller, Shiladitya expressed enthusiasm for his new role, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing global products and services that ensure secure and trustworthy communication for businesses and consumers alike.
Shreya Ghoshal and Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya’s journey is equally heartwarming. Childhood friends turned life partners, they married in 2015 after dating for nine years. Their joy expanded with their son, Devyaan, born on May 22, 2021.
