A New Year’s eve celebrations turned tragic at one of Switzerland’s most exclusive alpine destinations as a fire broke out at Le Constellation lounge bar in Crans-Montana resort town in the early hours of January 1, 2026. As people welcomed the new year, a fire broke out around 1:30 am, leaving several people dead and many injured. The tragedy triggered due to New Year fireworks, as per Swiss outlet Blick. However, investigations are still at early stages.
Images circulating in media showed the entire building engulfed in flames even as emergency services rushed to the scene.
