Alpha actor Alia Bhatt had a double victory as Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani bagged the National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, along with Best Choreography for the grand track Dhindhora Baje Re. The dance number, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, recently went viral over a behind-the-scenes rehearsal clip. But in that clip, it is the special gift that Alia receives from her guru that is being talked about.
What is Alia Bhatt’s special gift?
In the viral video, Bhatt is seen rigorously dancing in practice sessions under Merchant’s watch. As Alia perfects the high-energy routine before the shoot, Merchant is quite impressed by her effort. The choreographer gifted Bhatt a Rs 100 note as a gesture of appreciation, which made Alia leap in delight.
After the announcement of the National Award, Bhatt took to Instagram to share the unseen rehearsal video from the set of the track. Along with the clip, she wrote, “Reliving these memories and my heart is soooo full today. Dhindhora Baje Re is your brilliance @vaibhavi.merchant.” She added, “Forever grateful for the unforgettable journey that was #RRKPK, and to every single member of this brilliant team, this win is yours.
