The Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) on 30 November will feature global pop sensation and Grammy Award winner Dua Lipa, the company’s CEO Deepinder Goyal revealed on August 23 through a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
Deepinder Goyal in his post wrote, “Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) is back! Headlining this year’s event is my favourite global pop icon, @DUALIPA, an inspiration to millions worldwide!”
This is Dua Lipa’s second appearance in India after she performed at the OnePlus Music Festival in Navi Mumbai in 2019.
Additionally, leading performers for the event include Talwiinder and Jonita Gandhi.
What is ZFIC?
The Feeding India Concert is part of Zomato’s initiative to fight hunger and malnutrition in India. With Post Malone headlining, the inaugural version of the event took place in December 2022 and had a large turnout as well as substantial support for the cause. The goal of this year’s concert is to continue the Sustainable Development Goal of achieving zero hunger by 2030.
Venue and ticket price
ZFIC is scheduled to take place at MMRDA, BKC in Mumbai. The event is scheduled for November 30 from 3 pm to 10 pm. Pre-sale tickets for HSBC cardholders will begin on August 27 at 12 p.m., with general sales beginning on August 29. Tickets can be purchased through the Zomato app. However, reselling of tickets is only allowed through the official Zomato Live reselling platform.
The event does not have any age limitations, although children under 13 need to be accompanied by an adult. A separate ticket is required for children aged 6 and older. The precise cost of this year’s concert has not yet been disclosed while the prices for past events ranged from Rs 2,999 to Rs 19,999.
