Several Reliance employees shared photos and videos of the gift hamper they received ahead of the grand Indian wedding on social media. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are tying the knot at Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The venue spans across 18.5 acres which approximately 12 times the size of a FIFA football field. Jio World Centre covers 1,108,812 square feet and boasts five modular halls, 25 meeting rooms, and a ballroom.
An orange alert has been raised by IMD for Mumbai, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas. Similar alerts have been issued for Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts in Konkan region.

Reports indicate that numerous offices within Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) have instructed employees to work remotely from July 12 to July 15, citing traffic diversions and restrictions during the celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The couple is scheduled to wed on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Jio World Garden, popular among India‘s ultra-rich, notably hosted the lavish 2019 wedding of Mukesh Ambani‘s son, Akash Ambani, and Shloka Mehta. Situated at the Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai, Jio World Garden is Western Mumbai’s largest open-air turfed venue and one of the city’s top outdoor multipurpose arenas. According to GQ, renting this lush property for a day costs Rs 15 lakh.

The Ambanis have made extensive transportation arrangements to accommodate the heavy influx of guests coming in for the wedding celebrations. Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani has arranged for three Falcon 2000 jets to transport guests to the wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Rajan Mehra, CEO of Air Charter company Club One Air, confirmed to Reuters the same and mentioned that over 100 private planes are expected to be used during the wedding festivities.
