After years of anticipation and meticulous planning, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally set to move into their luxurious new residence, the Krishna Raj Mansion, a six-storey marvel in Mumbai’s elite Pali Hill area, reportedly valued at a staggering Rs 250 crore.
The newly completed home is a tribute to Ranbir’s family legacy. Built on the land originally owned by Ranbir’s grandparents Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, the estate was passed down to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Today, it is owned by Ranbir and Alia as they prepare to move to the space with their daughter Raha Kapoor, in whose name the property is said to be registered.
Popular paparazzo Viral Bhayani posted an update on his Insta page, confirming the completion of the residence in a recent post. He shared a video of the grey-toned mansion, complemented by potted greenery and rooftop gardens. “New beginnings in a dream home! Alia & Ranbir’s love nest is finally ready,” read the caption.

Located on Bandra’s platinum belt, the Krishna Raj Mansion, a six-level structure features rooftop gardens, vine-covered balconies, and expansive interiors designed to reflect both heritage and contemporary style. For years, Ranbir, Alia, and Neetu Kapoor have been hands-on with every detail of the design and construction, working closely with architects and designers to bring their vision to life.
An insider quoted by Hindustan Times confirmed that only final touches remain. “The ongoing work on their bungalow is almost done, with the finishing going on, which should take one month or so. After the work is done and they get a green signal, the couple will move into the place. It is the moment they have been looking forward to,” the source revealed, adding, “In fact, they will most probably be celebrating Diwali with Raha in the new house this year.”
The insider also emphasised the emotional value the property holds for the family. “The bungalow holds an emotional significance to the family, which is why everyone is so involved in the construction. Ranbir and Alia have made sure they take out time from their busy schedule and check the work status.”
On the work front, the couple will next appear together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, scheduled for release in mid-2026. Ranbir is also set to play the lead role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, with a Diwali 2026 release date. Additionally, he is slated to appear in the highly anticipated Animal Park and Dhoom 4.
