Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been injured while shooting for his upcoming film “King” as per Filmfare reports. While the injuries are not that serious, he has been advised to take one month’s rest. 

According to media reports, the actor for filming a high-intensity action sequence at the Golden Tobacco Studio in Mumbai. There are speculations that he and his team has travelled to the US for urgent medical care. “It’s nothing serious, Shah Rukh has injured multiple muscles,” said Bollywood reports.

With the King shooting on halt for a month, as per reports, it is likely to resume once SRK fully recovers. Also starring Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, the film is set to hit the big screen in 2026, a much awaited SRK comeback after Dunki.

However, some reports also suggest that shoot bookings at Film City and YRF Studios have been cancelled under further notice, Times Now reported. There has been no official confirmation of the same from Shah Rukh’s team.

The action thriller is set to bring the fans a tale of a mentor and disciple who embark on a perilous journey, pushing their survival skills to the limit against overwhelming odds and unforgiving environments.

The Siddhart Anand directorial will reunite the pairing after Pathaan which proved to be a huge box office success for the team. Also starring Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Jackie Shroff in key roles, the star cast is set to impress the fans in 2026.
