Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 was released on the occasion of Diwali on November 12, 2023. The fans of this megastar could not keep calm during the screening of the movie.

On its opening day, a screening of ‘Tiger 3’ took a dangerous turn after the fans went overboard with the celebration at Salman’s entry scene. The fans set off fireworks inside the movie theatre.

In the videos from the cinema hall, fans are seen to be enjoying the film’s screening and soon after a group of men in the front rows set off crackers which included rockets, bombs and fountains.

While there was amusement at the beginning of this crazy fan-move, it soon led to panic with all the non-stop lighting of firecrackers which also led to the theatre seats catching fire.

The audience were screaming with fear caused by the rockets and fireworks. The video from the smoke covered theatre went viral on social media and the public in the theatre were seen to be rushing towards the exit of the cinema hall.

Such an incident was also reported from other theatres. It has been alleged that a Salman Khan fan club was involved in the act of lighting up fireworks during the screening.

The video took rounds on social media inviting reactions from netizens and one from the filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma.

Ram Gopal Verma shared one such clip and wrote “And we think we are not MAD.”

One tweet said “SALMAN KHAN FAN CLUB MALEGAON THEATRE BAND KAR DIYE”

Another blamed the Salman Khan fan club and wrote “Salman Khan Fans Burst Firecrackers During Tiger 3 Show In Malegaon Theatre. Did anyone expect better??”

One said it was a ‘Peak Sal-mania’ as funs burst crackers inside the cinema hall.

Another netizen called it a ‘Diwali Madness in the theatre’.

Film journalist Amit Karn wrote “Expressing joy is one thing, but celebrating in such a manner can be dangerous. Let’s celebrate responsibly.” sharing a clip from the Malegaon theatre.

Salman Khan himself has reacted to the incident and posted on X. His tweet read “…Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.”

Similar incidents have been reported earlier which the actor himself condemned. Back in 2021, Salman Khan had issued a public safety message to warn his fans against such behavior inside the theatres after similar incident was reported at the premiere show of ‘Antim: The Final Truth’.

“Request all my fans not to take firecrackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard, thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners not to allow firecrackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at the entry point…”
