One of the most popular singers of Bollywood, Himesh Reshammiya, took the global stage after being named as the only Indian on a Bloomberg list of the world’s most influential pop stars. Reshammiya features alongside big names like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Ed Sheeran.

Aged 52, Reshammiya has over 1300 songs under his discography for Bollywood and given his voice to songs like Jhalak Dikhlaja, Tera Surroor, and Just Chill. Being the only Indian artist to feature on the list, Himesh secured the 22nd spot. The report revealed that approximately 1,20,000 applications were received for the globe-spanning list. From evergreen boy bands like Coldplay to K-pop sensation J-Hope, the list has it all.

As per the report, apart from Himesh Reshammiya, the list features several icons of the music world. With Grammy nominees and awardees in the list, is filled with pop-culture icons. From Espresso star Sabrina Carpenter to Super Bowl headliners Kendrick Lamar and SZA, this list features several iconic names such as Beyonce, Shakira, and Lady Gaga – the unbeaten trio of the game.

Himesh Reshammiya’s concert in India called ‘Cap-Mania Tour’ held in July attracted over 30,000 fans in Delhi and Mumbai. Celebrating his rap and musical journey, he honoured the contributions of the Indian soldiers following Operation Sindoor. The tickets were sold for Rs 1,999 to as high as Rs 27,999.

Also on the list was Coldplay returned to India in January with their ‘Music of The Spheres Tour’ with 5 shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. With tickets selling out in seconds, the show attracted more than 2 lakh fans across the five shows.
