YouTube India’s 2025 Top Songs list: YouTube has announced its 2025 end-of-year list, showing the songs that became the most popular on the platform this year. The list is part of YouTube’s annual Vibe Check, which reveals the videos, creators, films, shows and music that viewers watched the most in India.
Saiyaara becomes the No. 1 song of 2025
The title track of Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara has taken the top spot on YouTube India’s list of trending songs. The song is composed by Arslan Nizami, Tanishk Bagchi and Faheem Abdullah, written by Irshad Kamil and sung by Abdullah. It was released on Yash Raj Music’s YouTube channel. The video features the film’s lead actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The song also did well on YouTube Shorts and was placed at No. 3 on the Shorts trending list.
Telugu hit Ranu Bombai Ki Ranu takes second place
The second spot on the list went to the Telugu song Ranu Bombai Ki Ranu, sung by Singer Prabha, with music by Kalyan Keys and Ramu Rathod. The track became very popular and was widely shared on YouTube throughout the year.
Shaky becomes another favourite
G-Spark and Sanju Rathod’s song Shaky took the No. 3 spot. Its catchy tune and dance steps helped it go viral on Shorts, making it one of the most played songs on the platform.
Raanjhan claims the fourth position
At No. 4 is Raanjhan, sung by Parampara Thakur. The song is from the Netflix India film Do Patti, which stars Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh. The emotional feel of the song helped it connect with audiences and stay on the trending list for weeks.
Haryanvi track Teri Ramjhol Bole Gi in top five
The fifth song on the list is the Haryanvi track Teri Ramjhol Bole Gi by Sheenam Katholic, Mr Boota, Masoom Sharma, Aarohi Raghav and Kay D. The song was especially popular in North India and was used in a large number of Shorts videos.
A mix of languages and sounds ruled 2025
This year’s list shows how Indian viewers enjoy songs from different parts of the country. Bollywood, Telugu and Haryanvi music all found a place in the top five. The 2025 Vibe Check once again shows how music remains one of the most watched categories on YouTube, with songs travelling across states and languages to become nationwide hits.
