Kareena’s longtime nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, appeared for a talk show with Lallantop and revealed the diet the actress follows to stay at the peak of her fitness game. It includes everything from cheese toast to milkshakes and more.

During the same interview, Rujuta revealed that Kareena Kapoor has been following the same diet since 2009 and has stayed consistent with her meals and eating habits.

What Kareena Kapoor eats in a day

Early morning

A handful of dry fruits like almonds, raisins, or figs

Breakfast

She either has paratha or poha. In a recent appearance on The Hollywood Reporter with Vicky Kaushal, she revealed to him as well that she was eating parathas during Tashan as well, when she was losing weight to attain size zero.

Lunch

She usually has dal chawal or a cheese toast.

Evening snack

A whole mango or a mango milkshake

Dinner

Either khichdi with ghee or a pulao. Kareena has spoken about her love for khichdi on numerous occasions as well.

Rujuta also added that while shoring, Kareena’s go-to meal is dal and rice, but if she’s at home, she prefers roti and sabzi.

Kareena Kapoor on her diet

The Crew star once said, “My cook is exhausted because I make him make the same food for 10-15 days. Same dal-rice, dahi (curd)-rice. He is like, ‘What am I cooking?’ But I can be really happy eating khichdi five times a week. It works. It keeps me happy with a dollop of ghee.”

During another interview with The Nod, she had mentioned, “Dinner by 6 pm, lights out by 9:30 pm, morning workouts before the world wakes up.

Kareena Kapoor’s love for yoga

Kareena Kapoor’s health is not just about her daily diet, but also her workouts, which go viral everytime she posts a workout routine. But it is yoga that’s her favourite way to stay fit. During a chat with Vogue, she shared, “Yoga is a part of my soul, a part of me. I have been practising yoga for over 10 years and it feels amazing.”

Along with yoga, Kareena Kapoor also does Pilates, strength training, and breathing techniques.
