Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri box office collection day 6: Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday’s latest rom-com, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, is set to complete one week on the big screen. After a modest start and a lukewarm response, this Karan Johar production has failed to ignite the year-end spark. Following the release of record-shattering Dhurandhar, Indian audiences seem to be moving away from the romantic-comedy genre, for the time being.
Ruled by war movies, even January 2026 steers clear of the genre, with Ikkis and Sunny Deol’s Border 2 awaiting their box office debut. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri also joins the list of rom-coms, ‘Param Sundari’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari’, which failed to capture their audiences’ interest and achieve blockbuster status. However, Kriti Sanon and Dhanush’s Tere Ishk Mein briefly ruled the Bollywood box office.

According to Sacnilk, the Dharma Productions-backed romantic comedy began its box office run with Rs 7.5 crore in India, falling just short of the coveted double-digit opening. Collections dipped by nearly 32 per cent on the first Friday, bringing in Rs 5.25 crore. The momentum slowed further over the weekend, with earnings dropping to Rs 1.75 crore, taking the film’s total domestic collection to around Rs 27 crore.
Early estimates suggest that Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri managed to cross the Rs 25 crore mark in India by day three. When overseas earnings of approximately Rs 7 crore are added, the film’s worldwide gross stands at about Rs 37 crore for the Kartik Aaryan–Ananya Panday starrer.
The film recorded an overall occupancy of roughly 23 per cent on day one, though footfalls improved during evening and night shows, crossing the 34 per cent mark. Despite this response, the rom-com struggled to breach the 20 per cent occupancy rate after a week. Metro regions such as Delhi NCR and Mumbai emerged as key centres, with over 24 per cent seat occupancy across nearly 800 shows.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri features Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Pandey, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, Aruna Irani and Tiku Talsania in pivotal roles.
