Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri box office collection day 1: Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are back on the big screen. This time, with a classic rom-com tale, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (TMMTMTTM), which was released on Thursday, December 25. The Christmas 2025 opening added a festive spirit to the film as the holiday cheer reached cinemas. Standing against big grossers like Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar and James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, can this mainstream film sustain?

Also featuring the versatile Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff, TMMTMTTM went viral for several reasons, one of which was its name. Among the romantic comedies released in 2025, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri followed the release of Param Sundari and Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, both of which simmered down after a lukewarm response. On the other hand, Tere Ishk Mein, Kriti Sanon and Dhanush’s romantic drama ruled the big screen for a while, making a lasting impact on the genre in 2025.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri collection day 1: Box office report

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri collected Rs 7.5 crore on its opening day in India. Filling 34% seats across theatres, it gained popularity towards the end of the day. However, with 40.23% occupancy in night shows, the day progressed better for the Kartik Aaryan-Ananya Panday starrer.

As promotions and buzz on the internet ramped up on full scale, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri was expected to gross Rs 8-10 crore on its opening day. As per reports, the worldwide box office collection, though, has taken Kartik Aaryan’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri to a Rs 10 crore feat.

How Tu Meri Main Tera opening compares with other Kartik Aaryan films

While Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri does not rank among Kartik Aaryan’s highest-performing films yet, it did become his third-biggest opening. His Bhool Bhulaiyaa charm dominated the chart, but including the worldwide gross, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri became one of his big winners. For Ananya Panday, the Sameer Vidwans directorial managed to hover just below her top five films. Sharing the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana, Dream Girl 2 remains her highest-grossing film so far.
