OG movie box office collection day 2: Pawan Kalyan‘s second release of the year, ‘They Call Him OG’ has made big waves in theatres. Playing the role of a gangster, Ojas ‘OG’ Gambheera, the actor has received much love from fans online and has been termed as his “redemption era”. With a record-shattering opening day collection of Rs 63.75 crore, as per Sacnilk, the OG movie became a superhit for the Telugu film industry.
The industry tracker also revealed the OG movie collected nearly Rs 20 crore on its first Friday. This took the total domestic tally to Rs 104 crore after a Rs 21 crore pre-sale collection for Pawan Kalyan’s OG. As the weekend approaches, the record-breaking ‘They Call Him OG’ might be on its way to cross the Rs 200 crore mark.
‘They Call Him OG’ Box Office Collection: 41% occupancy
An improvement from its opening day, the first Friday attracted a higher audience for the Pawan Kalyan movie. With an overall occupancy rate of 41.57%, night shows were increasingly popular, as per past trends. Vishakhapatnam seems to have the highest number of fans of Pawan Kalyan, as audiences filled nearly 60% of the theatres.
Occupancy also crossed 50% in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Guntur. Similar trends were observed across the two days, with the lowest Telugu audience coming from Delhi NCR and Mumbai. Kochi had the highest audience number for the OG movie in Tamil and Lucknow for Hindi.

Pawan Kalyan’s highest-grossing films
As per the global movie database, IMDb, Kalyan’s highest-grossing film so far is Bheemla Nayak (2022), which collected Rs 158 crore. ‘They Call Him OG’ is set to break the charts and become one of the fastest, highest-grossing films of all time. His other notable films include Vakeel Sahab (Rs 137 crore) and Attarintiki Daredi (Rs 130 crore).
The Rs 90 crore opening day of the OG movie also smashed records for Bollywood’s 2025 blockbusters, surpassing Chhaava and Saiyaara’s records.
