Adipurush
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan among others, was made on a massive budget of Rs 500 crore! However, the film saw a steady and steep decline within the first few days of its release. It grossed a total of just Rs 389.1 crore worldwide, becoming a huge flop.
Thugs of Hindostan
Back in 2017, the film was made on a budget of Rs 220 crores. However, the film could only mint Rs 193.83 crore gross and Rs 151.19 crore nett in India, becoming one of the biggest flops of the year.
Kalank
Karan Johar’s foray into a Sanjay Leela Bhansali-like world with expansive sets starred the biggest names in Bollywood. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, among others. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 150 crore, the film could gross only Rs 146.31 crore worldwide.
Zero
A Rs 200 crore movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma is expected to be a huge hit. However, what was made on a budget of Rs 200 crore could gross only Rs 186 crore worldwide, becoming one of the biggest flops of SRK’s career.
Ra.One
Another big budget SRK movie that tanked at the box office was this Rs 130 crore movie, which was touted as his dream project. With high-end VFX, something that India had not seen until that point, the movie could earn Rs 158.74 crore in India.
