Billionaire pop star Taylor Swift, also a business genius, has her new album launching ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ on October 3. Often considered her lucky number, ‘thirteen’, the singer is often seen dropping easter eggs, even during her live performances. Headlining the biggest concert in the history of music, Taylor Swift reached her billionaire status after wrapping up the world tour and even surpassed Beyoncé’s net worth.
Swift, weeks after she announced her engagement to Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, had launched her own SiriusXM channel. Titled ‘Taylor’s Channel 13’, the radio channel is now live, just 13 days ahead of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album release. It will run till October 19, and SiriusXM listeners across North America can tune into it. But can fans in India listen to it?
Taylor Swift’s radio channel: Can fans in India listen to it?
Fans in India cannot directly listen to Taylor Swift’s Channel 13 on SiriusXM since it needs a satellite subscription. However, it may be possible for fans to download the SiriusXM streaming app, but Taylor Swift’s team has not announced an official direct broadcast or licensing of Channel 13 specifically for India as of now.
The radio channel will feature a mix of her biggest hits from her past 11 albums. It will also include some of her ‘From the Vault’ songs and even live renditions of her tunes. Taylor Swift continues to not only dominate the music world, but also every aspect of pop culture. “Her chart-topping, award-winning songs resonate with every generation of listeners, and we are thrilled to deliver our subscribers a place to celebrate their fandom and the new album with the launch of Taylor’s Channel 13,” Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, had said in a statement.
Her collaboration with SiriusXM is not new. They were a prominent part of her music career when she started.
