After entering the Rs 100 cr club at a quick clip, Salman Khan Sultan box office collections have notched up another success and that is by entering the Rs 200 cr club too and that too apace,  creating yet another sensational record. Sultan 7 days collection has created a record by becoming the first Hindi film that has crossed the Rs 200 crore milestone in a week (7 days).

In fact, all other movies took as many as 9 days. Whether they were Aamir Khan’s PK, Salman’s own Bajrangi Bhaijaan or Aamir’s other top film Dhoom 3, none of them was as quick as Salman Khan’s newest film. And yes, even Shah Rukh Khan has not set that scorching pace ever.

Showing no sign of fatigue, Sultan 7th day collection (Tuesday) was logged at a high of Rs 12.92 crore. Significantly, this has padded up Salman’s reputation further. While no such embellishment is required by the megastar, but Bollywood is such a capricious place that one is as  good as one’s last hit – many a superstar has learnt that lesson at his cost.

According to Bollywood Hungama Sultan 7 days collection overall total (worldwide) is Rs 382.03 crore.

Aside from Sultan, Salman Khan has already powered his own films Kick and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) into the Rs  200 cr club. If you are curious to know why we have not mentioned Bajrangi Bhaijaan here is because it had entered yet another, higher, exclusive space, the Rs 300 crore club.
