Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey have won the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards for 2023. This will be a first for both the actors. Khan won the award for his film ‘Jawan’ and Massey won it for ‘12th Fail’. The comedy-drama ‘Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery’ clinched the Best Hindi Feature Film Award. The National Awards were announced on August 1 by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The jury presented the final list of winners to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, in the presence of Union MoS Dr. L Murugan and I&B Secretary Sanjay Jaju.
Rani Mukerji has received the National Award for Best Actress in Leading Role for her film ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’.
