Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), experienced a health scare during the team’s recent playoff match in Ahmedabad. On Tuesday, May 21, Khan was admitted to KD Hospital for treatment of dehydration, PTI reported.
After celebrating the KKR’s victory with his team late into the night, Khan’s condition worsened the following morning. He received prompt medical attention at KD Hospital around 1 pm. He was discharged after primary treatment and is in stable condition, as per sources close to financialexpress.com.

Doctors have advised Khan to prioritize rest as he recovers.
The official Instagram page of KKR shared pictures of Khan thanking fans, captioning them with, “Our lucky charm, our King Khan!”

This incident comes amidst a scorching heatwave gripping Ahmedabad, with temperatures reaching a concerning 45 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has even issued a red alert for the city.
On the work front, Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. As per reports, his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘King’, is anticipated to feature him alongside Suhana Khan. However, an official announcement regarding it is still awaited.
