If Dhadak was a remake of Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi blockbuster Sairat (2016), Dhadak 2 has been adapted from Mari Selvaraj’s acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018). Dhadak 2 stars Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles.
