In a recent episode of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina took the stage alongside fellow creators Bhuvam Bam and Tanmay Bhatt, adding a unique twist to the iconic show. Hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the episode quickly became fan favourite, filled with homour and playful banter that left audiences and Big B splits in laughing fit.
One of the standout moments from the episode came when Raina jokingly asked Amitabh Bachchan for a share in his property. Bachchan also joined the enjoyment by delivering his famous dialogue from the 1998 film Shahenshah. ‘’Rishtey mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah.’’
After Bachchan playfully called Raina as his son, he seized the moment by folding his hands and pleaded with him asking, ‘’Aapne beta bana hi diya hai toh property mein thoda hissa? (Since you have me your son, Can I have share in your property?’’) This statement made everyone laugh.
After the conversation continued, Raina also shared a hilarious incident about his attempt to make entry into Bachchan’s iconic Juhu bungalow, Jalsa. With his trademark humour, Raina stated about the experience that not just him, they even found out my grandmother and beat her up, leaving the audience again in uncontrollable laughter.
The episode includes another light-hearted moment when Raina humorously shared about Bachchan’s 1999 film Sooryavansham, which has been continuously telecast on the television. Seated on the hot chair with Bhatt, he recalled, The first Amitabh Bachchan movie I ever watched was Sooryavanshan. The second one was also Sooryavansham and the third one was also Sooryavansham. He mentioned that because of the continuous airing of the movie the TV has made its marathon which has Big B laugh out loud.
