Presently, the couple is officially married according to the Sikh wedding tradition, having concluded their Anand Karaj ceremony in the afternoon. Following the completion of both ceremonies, Rakul and Jackky are scheduled to make an appearance before the gathered media outside the hotel for a photo opportunity. They are expected to share their initial wedding pictures or videos later in the evening. The pre-wedding festivities commenced on February 19, with Rakul Preet and Jackky publicly acknowledging their relationship on Instagram in October 2021.
On the professional front, Rakul is set to appear in the film Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan, where she shares the screen with Bobby Simhaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The movie, a sequel to the 1996 release, features Kamal Haasan as an aged freedom fighter combating corruption.
Meanwhile, Jackky awaits the release of his upcoming production, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in leading roles, slated to hit theaters on Eid 2024.
