Stunning the red carpet and fans with yet another Halloween costume, she has officially been declared the Queen of Halloween! Dressed as a Medusa serpent, she called the festival by her very own name, ‘Happy Heidiween’.
With fans unable to stay calm and eagerly following her social media page for the costume reveal, they called it the America’s Got Talent panellist’s very own Super Bowl, as important as the final NFL game and the halftime show. While other actors may dress up as a basic Dracula or vampire, Heidi Klum has never been basic. From dressing up as Goddess Kali in 2008, to ‘inching down’ the red carpet dressed as a literal worm.
What went behind Heidi Klum’s medusa?
Heidi Klum had shared some BTS videos from her getting ready for the viral red carpet look. She posted a single picture of her fangs yesterday morning and then teased the fans with a close-up of her face getting painted green. Sharing a video from her makeup vanity, there were three separate carts, each for every element from her costume. From nailing her prosthetic denture, to painting her face green, to attaching literal wires to perfectly embody Medusa’s snake-for-hair head.
Each part of prosthetic makeup, from a tiny upper lip to wearing green lenses, the entire process took nearly 8 hours. Done by the talented celebrity prosthetic makeup artist, Mike Marino.
