The trailer of this much-anticipated Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period film is going to be unveiled today. The trailer of Padmavati will be released at 1:03 pm. The significance of the release of the trailer is believed to be the first fight between Maharawal Ratan Singh and Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The battle was fought in 1303 AD for the very first time, reported India.com. Padmavati’s official Twitter handle announced the realise time of the film that said, ‘Padmavati Trailer arrives today at 13:03. Stay tuned!’ The trailer that will hit the Net today is expected to feature the magnificent star cast.

In the film, Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Rani Padmini of Chittor, while Shahid Kapoor will feature in the role of her husband Rawal Ratan Singh. Ranveer will be seen as the baddie, playing the role of the menacing Alauddin Khilji. The trailer of Padmavati will also include the romance between Deepika and Shahid’s characters.

The buzz about the film was much hyped when Deepika’s first look was released. Later it was the enthralling look of Ranveer Singh that made the people grow impatient for the release of the film trailer. Singh’s kohled eyes, the long tresses and the vicious look all adding up to the rugged look of his character Alauddin Khilji.
