Veteran Bollywood actor Zeenat Aman has shared an emotional message after boarding an Air India flight, just days after the devastating Ahmedabad plane crash that claimed over 200 lives. The London-bound Air India Dreamliner, carrying 242 passengers and 12 crew members, crashed moments after takeoff, leaving the country in mourning.

Zeenat Aman took to Instagram to post a photo of herself aboard an Air India flight, reflecting on the tragic incident. In a heartfelt note, she wrote, “Boarded an Air India flight this morning and found myself absolutely overwhelmed with emotion as I buckled my seat. May our collective grief offer some solace to those who lost their loved ones.”

Her post resonated deeply with followers, adding to the nationwide outpouring of sympathy. Many Bollywood celebrities have also taken to social media to express their sorrow and support for the victims’ families.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog, “Most pained and filled with immense remorse on the Air India crash… empathy and support for the lives lost of our people, and across all nations and communities… May grief transform into solidarity… Through transparent investigation, let there be sustained remembrance… and resilience… for meaningful action and prompt lessons… and for the healing of all…”

Shah Rukh Khan shared on Instagram, “Absolutely heartbroken with the news about the crash in Ahmedabad… my prayers for the victims, their families and all affected.” Salman Khan also wrote, “Deeply saddened to hear about the Ahmedabad plane crash… Heartfelt prayers for the families of the passengers, crew and all those affected.”

The tragic incident occurred when the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed within a minute of takeoff from Runway 23 at Ahmedabad airport, erupting into flames shortly after.

On the professional front, Zeenat Aman was last seen in the Netflix series The Royals and will next appear in Bun Tikki, directed by Faraz Arif Ansari and produced by Manish Malhotra, alongside Abhay Deol and Shabana Azmi. The release date for the film is yet to be announced.
