Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his landmark 25th Telugu film titled ‘Maharshi’ under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. Maharshi is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year with fans eagerly awaiting the release. Teasing the fans a little more, the actor took to his social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram sharing a few pictures from behind the scenes of the Maharshi shoot.

Looking at the pictures, Mahesh Babu seems to be deeply engrossed in the film-making aspect of the movie as he is seen holding deep conversations with the crew of Maharshi including the director Vamsi Paidipally in between the shots.

With Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the movie boasts of a stellar cast with Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Allari Naresh and Sai Kumar in prominent roles.

Maharshi is jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutti and Prasad V Potluri. However, the movie was recently in news for the construction of a village set in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City which costs a whopping Rs 8 crore. The makers of Mahesh’s next release, Maharshi recently announced that the movie will finally be releasing on April 25, Indian Express reported.

But seems like the fans will have to wait a bit longer. The movie will now release on May 9. Over the last few months, the makers of the movie and Mahesh Babu have been on a tight schedule to complete the last few scenes. The entire film’s shoot is to be completed by March 15, except for two songs.
