Kick 2 release date: Salman Khan fans, this one’s for you! After Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai raked in big business at the box office, Bhai is not at peace yet. The actor, who is shooting for his upcoming venture Race 3 and is gearing up for Bharat, has announced his third film which will hit threatres in 2019. Yes, you heard that right! While the actor has his hands full, producer Sajid Nadiadwala just confirmed a sequel to the 2014 release Kick, ensuring that Salman Khan fans do not miss seeing him back to back on screen. Kick 2 is slated for a 2019 Christmas release. Confirming the second instalment of the film, Nadiadwala said he is excited to direct the 2.0 version of the film. Though we know who the leading actor is going to be in the sequel, nothing has been confirmed on who Salman is going to romance in Kick 2. Sajid Nadiadwala has not confirmed if he is going to cast Jacqueline Fernandez (who starred in the last instalment) in the sequel as well. But if we go by the reports, one thing is for sure that the film is going to be a high- voltage action drama.

After witnessing a rare roadblock with Tubelight, Salman made a much-needed comeback and shut his critics. While Race 3 being aniticipated as potentially among the most successful films this year, the announcement of Kick 2 could well mean that Salman Khan is all set for an impactful 2019 showdown as well. Just yesterday, he set social media on fire after tweeting, ”Mujhe ladki mil gayi.” As users went berserk trying to decipher the reason behind the tweet, he put all the rumours at rest when he tweeted again saying, ”Nothing to worry na @aaysharma ki film #Loveratri ke liye ladki mil gayi Warina, Toh dont worry na be happy na.”
