Jr NTR, who briefly shot for director Prashanth Neel’s upcoming big-budget project Dragon last month, is now coming back to full-fledged shooting after completing his promotional commitments for War 2, where he shares the screen with Hrithik Roshan. As the marketing activities are over, the War 2 actor is back to shooting the much-anticipated action entertainer. But did you know how much Jr NTR‘s house set on Dragon costs? We find out.

About Jr NTR’s house set on Dragon

The film’s initial schedule took place in Kumta, a picturesque coastal town in Uttara Kannada along the scenic Konkan belt. For a 10 day shoot, expansive factory sets and backdrops were built, offering a grand set against the natural setting. However, due to unpredictable monsoon showers, the outdoor filming is disrupted, forcing the production team to pause location-based sequences.

To keep the shoot going on, the crew shifted base to Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where multiple large-scale sets for the film are currently under construction. Among them, the most talked-about set is Jr NTR’s on-screen house, which, according to a Filmfare report, is being built on a massive budget of Rs 15 crore.

Sources close to the project revealed that the lavish house set has been designed with great attention to detail. From custom-made artefacts and handpicked wall hangings to personalised colour palettes, every element of the house has been built keeping in mind the visual depth. The residence is expected to be a central backdrop for several key sequences.

Given director Prashanth Neel’s reputation for immersive world-building in films like KGF and Salaar, the set’s grand scale is not a surprise. “The investment reflects Neel’s ambition to create an expansive visual experience, ensuring the film matches global production standards,” a source shared.
