If you have missed out catching the entertainer on the big screen, here’s an opportunity to watch it from the comforts of your homes, not on one but two platforms.
When and where to watch Jolly LLB 3 on OTT
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the film will be hitting two digital platforms – Netflix and JioHotstar, however it isn’t clear whether the release will be simultaneous or with a gap.
A source told the outlet, “Usually, a filmmaker signs an exclusive deal with only one streaming giant for his/her film. In case of Jolly LLB 3, it is expected to be available on two platforms — Netflix as well as JioHotstar. That’s the reason both the platforms were mentioned in the opening slate of the film.”
According to reports, the film will premiere on Friday, November 14.
Released on September 19, 2025, the film starred Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi in key roles.
Which movies released on two platforms in the past
While it isn’t the norm to release a film on two digital platforms, it certainly isn’t an exception as well. Kriti Sanon’s Mimi released both on Netflix and Jio Cinema at the same time in 2021. Another film, that stands out with double digital platform premiere is Abhishek Bachchan’s Dasvi that released on both Netflix and Jio Cinema in 2022.
In case of regional movies or those released in multiple languages, at times the Hindi version is released on a different platform. Like in case of RRR, the Hindi version premiered on Netflix, while the South Indian language versions were released on ZEE5 and Disney+ Hotstar.
Kantara’s Kannada version and other South Indian language dubbed versions streamed on Amazon Prime Video, while the Hindi-dubbed version was later released on Netflix.
